Overview

This breakout board is designed to make the I/O pins and signals from XDAQ's DB25 connector more easily accessible through BNC connectors.

Usage Instructions

Connection Setup

1. Ensure the XDAQ system is powered off before connecting the breakout board.
2. Connect the DB25 connector on the breakout board to the XDAQ DB25 port.
3. Secure the connection to prevent accidental disconnection during operation.

Connecting External Equipment

1. Use standard BNC cables to connect the desired signals to external instruments.
2. Confirm signal direction and function based on the XDAQ I/O configuration.
3. Verify that connected devices use compatible voltage levels.

Operation

  • Configure the I/O behavior in the XDAQ software as required.
  • Signals present on the DB25 connector will be directly available on the corresponding BNC connectors.
