Armor

Optional protective covers are available for each headstage, offering extra protection and anchoring. These covers, crafted from Polyoxymethylene (POM), are lightweight and resistant to chemicals. There are three standard armor types, with options for customization in shape and material to suit diverse experimental requirements. It's important to note that the size, weight, and shape of these armors will differ across various X-Headstage™ models.

    S Armor

The S armors with ear loops around the side used to anchor headstage to the accessories such as electrode adapters.

    M Armor

The M armors are designed to provide protection while maintaining minimal size.

    IP Armor

The IP armors are designed to provide the most protection and fully encase the X-Headstage. The X-Headstage™ with the optional parylene coating has been tested to the IP68 standard.

Compatible Acquisition System

The X3SR32 X-Headstage™ is designed for seamless integration with the KONTEX XDAQ™ system, ensuring synchronized stimulation and recording with high fidelity. In addition to the XDAQ™, the X3SR32 is also compatible with a range of open-source and proprietary acquisition systems, provided appropriate signal remapping or interfacing is used. Below is a list of confirmed compatible systems:
  • Intan Recording Controller (512ch or 1024ch)
